"Jordyn has a gift--my daughter looks forward to her lessons every week and is always smiling when she comes out. Voice lessons shape her not only as a musician, but as a young adult. " Teaching Philosophy
Learning to sing is a journey of highs and lows; happiness and frustration. I believe in forming a bond and friendship with each individual student--if they trust me, they are more likely to learn and grow!
It is the job of the voice teacher to educate each student in techniques, anatomy and give them access to a deeper understanding of their natural instrument. It is always my hope to awaken student's inner motivation, and give them as many tools as possible to be the absolute best they can be. I continue to take lessons and educate myself further in the science, anatomy and techniques of singing in order to provide each student with the most up-to-date information and best education possible. Jordyn at the Edge is amazing. She has a way of getting students to perform beyond their ability and still make it so fun!! |
